Clipping coupons is a great way to save money on everyday essential purchases such as food and cleaning products.
Where to find the best coupons to save money
If you’ve ever clipped coupons before then you will know there are so many places to find them. I’ve gone through all the places I’ve found coupons in the last few months and written about them here.
Find Coupons Automatically with Shoppers
In the last few months I’ve come across an awesome browser extension that instantly applies the best coupon code to your online basket. That means no scrambling around looking for the best coupons or coupon code, it’s instantly applied to your checkout. This extension instantly saves you the most money possible.
Cashback apps are a great alternative to coupons if you don’t have a printer at home. You simply make the purchase and then request your cash back. Some cash back apps include Checkoutsmart, GreenJinn and Clicksnap.
If you like the sound of cashback apps then you’ll love Shopmium, they have regular offers often making some of the products free. in the past year we’ve picked up free cereal, free bread and so much more! The other benefit to using Shopmium is that it’s a cashback app so you don’t need a printer.
Super Savvy Me
Super Savvy Me is a website from P&G which has a good selection of coupons for every day items. They’ve recently updated the way they work by offering a cash back system.
CaringEveryday is a website from Johnson and Johnson and has a page dedicated to coupons. You can choose the coupons you want to print off and use them in store like you would any other.
Contacting the company directly
Have you had a great service or product and you want to tell the company about it? Alternatively have you had a really bad service or product? When you write to companies they may sometimes offer you some coupons for your next purchase.
This method can be a bit hit and miss but it’s worth a try hey?
Using social media
If you follow specific brands on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram then you may notice they sometimes offer coupons to their followers. Some brands also have regular competitions to win free stuff so it may be worth following your favourite brands.
Signing up to newsletters
Some brands will send you regular coupons for signing up to their newsletter or email list. If you head over to their website they will often have a place to pop in your email address.
When you sign up to loyalty schemes such as Tesco Clubcard and Boots Advantage card you’ll be sent regular coupons and savings.
